The P&C and school community have collated the following information about activities and events within our local area:
- Active Bankstown leisure and physical activity programs and events.
- Bankstown city YMCA offers activities and programs for family and community including gymnastics, childcare and vacation care, school PE, sport and recreation.
- Bankstown sports local sporting bodies.
- Bushcare is a volunteer program that encourages people to become involved in looking after Bankstown's bushland. Bushcare meets at Morgan's Creek at the corner of Prince street and The River Road, Picnic Point from 9.30am to 12.30pm on the 3rd Sunday of each month. Come and join local families and children for a fun and educational morning.
- The Georges River Environmental Education Centre offers programs and activities to support teachers and school students (K-12) in Education for Environmental Sustainablility.
- The Georges River National Park has the Yeramba Lagoon, ridge tracks, and spectacular river views.
