Friday 6th April we had our first disco for the year and it was a fantastic night filled with board shorts, zinc, glow sticks, leis and beach balls. The BBQ was an absolute hit and I’d like to take this opportunity to thank Stephen Avery (one of our parents who also manages Colin’s Illawong Village Meats) for donating all the delicious sausages and cooking them with the BBQ team. Thanks also go to our wonderful canteen volunteers who did another great job serving food and drinks for all to enjoy. Our DJ Rebecca Fischer was pumping out the tunes and it was great to see so many people of all ages having a dance throughout the night. I’d like to thank all the PPPS staff who were able to come along and lend a hand, and a huge thank you goes to our wonderful P&C and all our volunteers for putting on such a successful night for the community.
